Monte Rosa freeride weekend
Monte Rosa and its ski resorts, a true paradise for the Off-piste or Freeride as in a more modern way is defined. The large Monterosa Ski area includes the stations of Alagna, Gressoney and Champoluc for a total of 215 km of slopes and equally off-piste routes with classic itineraries plus the possibility of access, with the necessary knowledge, to off-piste hidden by the long routes in the wild . The starting point can be either Alagna or Gressoney chosen by the group based on your transport needs.

Informations:
1st day:
Meeting with the guide on Saturday morning at 8.30 am at Alagna or Gressoney base station lifts. Initial briefing on snow and weather conditions, avalanche bulletin, day program, safety equipment and materials. Freeride ski day.
Evening debriefing with a good beer to organize the Sunday program
2nd day:
Meeting at the facilities at 8.30 am, initial briefing, off-piste on a long itinerary, to make the best use of the day away from the lift lines. Freeride ski day
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: off-piste ski equipment better with touring bindings and climbing skins or ski mountaineering equipment. Safety kit: shovel, probe, ARTVA, eventual ABS backpack. The missing safety equipment (shovel, probe, ARTVA, any ABS backpack) can be rented directly from us upon reservation.

ELEVATION GAIN: not a lot, mainly downhill!

MAIN EXPOSURE: all exposures
DURATION: 2 days from 8.30 to 17.00 + afterski 😉
RECOMMENDED PERIOD: from mid-December to mid-April
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: groups of 1 to 7 people for each Mountain Guide
MINIMUM REQUIRED LEVEL: Parallel skis and excellent control even on steep slopes.
GUIDING PROFESSIONAL: UIAGM-certified mountain
Guiding of an Alpine Guide UIAGM, collective safety materials (rope, harness, carabiners), taxes and guide fees.
lifts tickets, avalanche safety kit (shovel, probe, ARTVA, eventual ABS), overnight stay (ask the organization for possible agreements), individual accident insurance (strongly recommended)
