From Oropa to Rome along the ‘Via Francigena’
A great journey, a traveling vacation.
Cycling with friends, along the Via Francigena, for the most part on dirt roads, from Oropa to Rome… A real holiday on two wheels that unites one of the largest Marian shrines in the Alps to the Papal Basilica of San Pietro in Vatican .
The route develops along the Via Francigena which in ancient times was one of the Roman roads pilgrims went through heading to Rome: a total of eight stages divided into approximately 120 km each to better savor the historical and cultural places, through the Biella pre-Alps to the Po Valley, the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the promenade and the Tuscan hills and the lakes of Lazio volcanic origin.
The arrival in Piazza S. Pietro will complete the holiday on two wheels.
About 900 km to be covered with e-bikes, through glimpses of Italy, savoring the best of our territory. An adventure you won’t forget!
